| Testimonials sent in by Paul Day and his son Tyler Day: | | | Tyler: "I want to thank Stallard Chassis for building such a good car. I won the championship in the 600 R Class with 10 Feature wins,10 heats,4 dashes, and a handful of top 3's.This was my second year racing. I drove a 2004 chassis with '07 updates, my power plant was a '05 R-6 built by J&P Motors, with Odum Carbs. I drove this car with confidence; it car was my fathers from 04 to 06 with a National Championship, two track championships, 2 regional championships, and over 20 feature wins. This proves that once a winner always a winner! Thanks again for making such a great chassis.... " | | | | |

This testimonial was sent in by Stallard driver Carson Short's father, Matt Short: we are so happy with our '05 Stallard that we have updated to an '08 that my son Carson drives. Last night at Southern Il Raceway we picked up our first win with him at the wheel at only 12 years of age. This is his first year in the Outlaw Multi Class and we would not have him in anything but a Stallard Chassis. Thank you at Stallard for your help. Matt Short Thanks to Matt, and congrats to Carson on your first win! |

This was an e-mail sent in by Stallard Chassis owner and driver Ryan Frantz take a look: "Ever since we bought our '08 stallard I bet I have been the biggest complainer about the way it handled, I couldn't get the car to stick to our little 1/8 Mile track at all. So 2 weeks ago I called mark and told him how unhappy I was with the car, and he told me to raise the car up, load the car up with a little more right rear weight, take some tilt out, and add some stagger. Last weekend my car was the best car I have ever drove, we were a little loose in the feature because we had to hard of a right rear tire, but early on in the night I won my heat and the trophy dash with authority, my car will stick high, low, in the middle wherever I point the car it sticks. So if your having trouble with your car no matter what year it is give the guys at Stallard a call, their customer service is second to none.
Thanks again Mark!" |

I agree with Ben wagoneer You barely touch the wheel and the car TURNS. I just came out of a 01 factor one and the difference is like driving a 1955 chevy over 6000 lbs with drums all the way around, compared to a new car. It made the factor one seem like i was driving a tank around compared to my new 08 stallard. the stallard just felt like driving a corvette. We didnt get much chance to change anything on the set up to make it handle better, but I could already tell the difference in the cars. Cant wait for the season to start now. John Parker We practiced our new 08’ Stallard Chassis a few weekends ago at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln IL to shake the car down and see how well it performed. The car was a blast to drive! The track was a ¼ miler and was pretty good but went dry slick very quickly. We didn’t have any problems getting this car set up for the changing track conditions at all. We made only a few minor changes (moved the RR tire in 1” and dropped the air pressures about 1lb). The car drove perfect when the track was somewhat moist and it handled just as great if not better when it got really slick. It responded very well to our adjustments. The thing I was most impressed with was the way he car drove and just handled well overall. Wherever I steered the car, that’s where it wanted to go. There was no issues with it pushing or not getting grip. The chassis reacted great to our shock package we had on it. It was really getting a lot of grip on the LR corner like we wanted it to. Forward bite was not a problem and I’m sure if we made some more minor changes to the setup we could of had it hooked up even more-so. There was only 2 of us 600s at this practice. And we got a surprise when the track officials put us out with the 410 sprint cars! But believe it or not this new car was going just as fast as those 410’s where going when the track got drier. I was expecting them to go right by me but it never happened. So all in all I highly recommend this car to anyone that’s looking for a new ride! -Ben Wagoner |
